Late 1940 and early 1950 Soldier Settlers from the World War 1 & 2 were allocated properties to grow Wine Grapes, Citrus and Stone Fruits and have progressed from there.

The secret is you have to be passionate, keeping up with modern technology and understanding the requirements from changing markets and willingness to adapt to these changes.

6.  Favourite varieties to work with and why?

No favourites all require their own personal nurturing.

7.  Favourite memory in the vineyard?

My favourite moment is sitting on top of the Mechanical Harvester and harvesting my grapes after 12 months of hard work then finally to see the grapes processed by the Winemaker into the bottle of Wine that we now share.

8.  Favourite food and wine pairing?

A nice piece of Australian Beef Steak with a full bodied Shiraz.
